We were once a depraved and decadent generation,

a generation that gave parents headaches and left teachers frustrated.

Now we believe in God and follow God and have embarked on the right path in life.

We understand the truth and fulfill our duties, shining bright;

we have become a generation of new people who are loved and blessed by God.

We have said goodbye to the mania of chasing trends,

and kept away from the clamor of the nightclubs.

No longer do we worry about vanity, or competing over fleshly pleasures.

No longer are we greedy for money, fame, and gain, or addicted to online games.

No longer do we chase absurd romances, and no longer are we willful and dissolute.

We have heard the voice of God and returned before Almighty God.

God's words have cleared our minds and sight,

and we have learned to tell between good and evil, right and wrong.

It's God's words that have cleansed us; we've broken free from the corruption of evil trends.

We've accepted the truths expressed by God, and set foot on the right path in life.

II

Each day I read the words of God and fellowship about the truth, living within the church life.

The judgment, chastisement, and pruning of God's words accompany me as I grow.

Though I have shed tears, felt sorrow, failed and fallen down,

God's words have promptly enlightened and illuminated me,

and I have understood the truth and been set free.

Brothers and sisters gather together, and sing and dance in praise of God.

Living before God and confiding in God, my heart is filled with happiness and sweetness.

Being an honest person who pleases God, I am innocent, vivacious, and without worries.

Proclaiming and testifying to God with one mind, our hearts are glad and free.

We've seen God face to face, and experienced His true love.

We've understood how precious the truth of God's words is; our lives have a new purpose.

Thanks be to Almighty God, who has given us the truth, the way, and the life.

Almighty God has saved us; we, the young generation, shall forever praise God!
