Every day you count the wealth and things that you have gained.

Every day you wait for more blessings to come down,

so that you may have and enjoy them all the more.

You want a higher standard in the things to be enjoyed.

Every day you’re waiting for more blessings to be gained.

Your mouths are filled with deceit and filth,

betrayal and arrogance.

Your words to God, insincere, unholy;

no words of submission to God

upon experiencing His words.

So what is your faith like?

It’s not God who is always in your thoughts,

not God nor the truth that comes from Him,

but rather your husbands, your wives and your offspring,

material things you eat and wear.

You think of ways to gain more enjoyment.

Even when your stomach’s full, are you not a corpse?

Even on the outside in such beautiful attire,

are you not a walking corpse devoid of life?

betrayal and arrogance.

Your words to God, insincere, unholy;

no words of submission to God

upon experiencing His words.

So what is your faith like?

You toil for the sake of your stomach,

till your hair is streaked with gray,

yet none sacrifice a single hair for His work.

You are constantly on the go,

racking your brain for the sake of your flesh,

and for your sons and daughters,

yet none of you shows

any worry or concern for God’s will.

What do you still hope to gain from God?
