I

Adrift in the boundless secular world, I never knew what the truth was.

Only after reading Almighty God's words did I discover the mysteries of life.

Every one of God's words is the truth and is what our lives need.

As I enjoy the watering and nourishment of God's words,

I understand the truth and feel my heart brighten.

As I practice and experience the words of God,

my life gradually grows, my life gradually grows,

and my heart cherishes the truth ever more;

God's words are the maxims of life.

Christ is the practical God, Christ is the practical God;

I praise and give thanks to God.

My heart's desire is to seek to love God; I wish to love Him for all eternity!

God's words have laid bare the true face

and source of man's abject corruption:

Humans are arrogant, conceited, selfish, deceitful,

and bereft of all conscience and reason.

I want to seek to love and submit to God,

yet I'm ever rebellious and resistant toward Him;

too much of what I expend for Him is tainted,

and all of it I do just in exchange for the blessings of the heavenly kingdom.

The sight of my corrupt and hideous countenance

fills my heart with remorse and self-loathing.

I wish to receive God's judgment and purification,

shed my corruption, and be pure in my love for Him.

Almighty God, our beloved, is deserving of man's eternal love.

My heart's desire is to seek to love God; I wish to love Him for all eternity!

III

All of the truths expressed by God have shown me the light of human life.

Through the suffering of trials and refinement,

I've come to fear and submit to God.

His words purify me and save me from the dark influence of Satan,

my life disposition is changed,

and I'm finally able to be compatible with Him.

It's only by experiencing God's words

that I've realized that the truth is life, and so precious;

only by shedding my corruption and practicing the truth

have I come to live out a true human likeness.

Christ is the practical God,

and I shall do my duty well in order to satisfy His heart.

My heart's desire is to seek to love God; I wish to love Him for all eternity!
