162. Zhao XX, female, aged 55, from Kuandian County, a preacher of the Three-Self sect. Around May 1999, someone preached the end-time work of Almighty God to the people of her sect. When she learned of that, she went to disturb them and said, “These words were written by man. It is an evil spirit that did it. I’ve burned the book they gave me.…” She also spoke words of resistance and blasphemy against God among the brothers and sisters, and disturbed those who had accepted the true way. In May 2000, Zhao suddenly got ovarian cancer. When she went to a hospital in Shenyang City for an operation, the cancer cells had spread throughout her abdomen. After her belly was cut open, her cancer was found to be inoperable, and she could only be stitched up. Afterward, Zhao underwent two chemotherapy treatments, but did not get any better. On July 30, 2001, she died. At her death, she was reduced to mere skin and bones. And of her whole body, only her belly was very big as if it were to burst open, which looked very horrible. This wicked woman was punished!

163. Tang XX, female, aged 37, from Zhenxing District in Dandong City, an elder of the Justification by Faith Church. In 1998, someone preached God’s end-time work to her, yet she not only refused to accept but also condemned it. Moreover, she often blasphemed and condemned God’s work in the co-workers’ meetings to deceive the others. And she also dragged back a sister who had accepted God’s end-time work. In October 2000, Tang got colon cancer. When she was operated on, her abdomen was found to be full of cancerous tumors, which were beyond cure, so she had her incision stitched up. On December 31, 2000, Tang’s condition deteriorated and she died. When she died, she was as thin as a skeleton, and her eyes were wide open and could not be closed, which looked bloodcurdling. The people of her church all said that she died a horrible death.

164. Gong XX, female, aged 58, from Lidian Town in Wafangdian City, a deaconess of the Three-Self sect. In May 1999, someone preached God’s end-time work to her. After she read the book of God’s word, she not only refused to accept but condemned God’s end-time work, and she said viciously, “I would rather lead the people to hell than accept it.” On the night of August 10 of the same year, Gong was hacked to death by her son at her home, and then her son was beaten to death by her husband. Because Gong did evil, her family was ruined finally.

165. Yang XX, male, aged 60, from Xinqiu District in Fuxin City, a preacher of the Old Local Church. Since God’s end-time work was preached to his Church, Yang had begun to resist it. At a meeting, he and Lin XX (female, aged 52, a believer of the Old Local Church) held a book of Almighty God’s word, and as they read, they slandered and condemned God’s work. In February 2000, at a big meeting, Yang again wildly condemned and attacked Almighty God in public. But before he finished his words, he suddenly felt unwell and was forced to stop speaking. As he stepped off the platform, he nearly collapsed. He was sent to the hospital, and upon examination, he was found to have a cerebral thrombosis. In September 2000, Lin also got a serious disease, which was liver cancer. She could hardly eat anything, and though she received four or five injections of dolantin each day, she was still in terrible pain. Finally, she died in extreme agony. They attacked God maliciously and were cursed!
