173. Yang XX, female, aged 35, from Jiaozhuang Township of Nanshi District in Baoding City, a deaconess of the Old Local Church. In May 1995, Yang accepted the Lord because she suffered lupus erythematosus and lost all her hair. After believing in the Lord, she was completely healed. In December 1998, someone testified to her God’s end-time work. When she heard the testimony, she felt it good. But after she went back, she changed her mind. She gave her leader Wu XX the notes she took while listening to the testimony. Then, they called a co-workers’ meeting, at which they condemned and blasphemed God’s work. They also recorded the notes on tapes as adverse propaganda materials and distributed the tapes to every meeting place, so that the gospel work in that area was greatly hindered. In mid-January 1999, a sister went to preach God’s end-time work to Yang again, but she let out a torrent of curses and also humiliated the sister. On May 13, 1999, Yang suddenly had a high fever, and her old disease recurred. Many red patches appeared on her body, and she lost almost all her hair. She went to several hospitals but could not be cured. Then, on July 3, 1999, she left this world very reluctantly. When she died, her eyes stared up at the sky, and her face looked awful. Later, Yang’s mother said that Yang’s leader Wu had died at the end of June 1999. Both of these two wicked servants were cut off!

174. Wang XX, male, aged 53, from Shunping County in Baoding City, a senior leader of the Three-Self sect. In May 1999, when someone testified to him God’s end-time work, he pretended to accept it. Later, when he read the book of God’s word, he wrote many blasphemous and abusive words on God’s words. Then two weeks later, Wang’s heart disease recurred. He felt tight in his chest and a pain in his heart, and his whole body swelled. When he went to the hospital, the doctor said that the treatment would cost him a large sum of money. So he had no choice but to take medicine at home. But no medicine was effective, and his condition worsened day by day. On January 9, 2000, he died.

175. Wang XX, male, aged 62, from Daodongbao Township of Cheng’an County in Handan City, a core member of the Three-Self sect. In May 1999, someone preached the end-time work of Almighty God to him, but he refused to accept. Later, when he learned that a sister in his village had accepted the end-time work of Almighty God, he took some people to disturb her. On seeing the two sisters who preached the gospel of Almighty God, he pointed at them calling them deceivers, and threatened them that he would call the Public Security Bureau. That night he drove the two young sisters away. His wife followed his example and deceived the people of their sect, saying that this way was unacceptable. Then on December 16, 1999, his wife fell off a brick-laden vehicle. And she died seven days later after all rescue measures failed. On June 12, 2000, Wang did not feel well. Upon examination, he was found to have lung cancer. On September 6, 2000, he died too. This pair of old wicked servants was thus cut off.

176. Gong X, male, aged 69, from Dongjingji Town of Yangyuan County in Zhangjiakou City, a leader of the Repentance Church. In June 1995, someone preached God’s end-time work to him, but after listening, he refused to accept. In March 1997, someone else preached the gospel to him, but he condemned and said, “This is a cult, a heresy, and a false christ.” He also went everywhere to disturb God’s work. Later, another person went more than ten times to fellowship with him, but every time he blasphemed more seriously. He even said, “Even if your God is the true God, I will not accept. I will see what he can do to me! My son-in-law has burned the book of God’s word, but your God didn’t do anything to him!” On March 11, 2001, Gong on a road was knocked down by a road-repairing backhoe when it backed up. Its wheel rolled over from his foot to lower abdomen, and he screamed “help” in pain. He was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, but all efforts to rescue him were in vain, and he was thus killed by a backhoe. He condemned God’s end-time work and dared challenge God, so he was punished!
